Thanks! I’ll be staying at home for this school year but am planning to return to work next year. It’s nice not having to worry about leaving him to go to work while he’s so young. I’m not sure what Seoul is like, but it’s been relatively easy having a baby in Tokyo. There’s a lot more walking involved since we don’t have a car, but I don’t mind.

Hi there! I’m so glad you have enjoyed Tokyo Terrace! I’ve never been to Osaka, so I’m not sure what kind of grocery stores you have, but hopefully I have some recipes that you can easily make with the ingredients you are able to access.

I found your blog while you’ve been taking a break, and I have to say that I’m excited to try some of your recipes and I hope you continue to post more! I moved to Osaka with my husband in July, and while I’m getting used to cooking here, it’s always interesting trying to adapt recipes to fit what I can find. Even though Osaka is a big place, I think you may have access to more non Japanese ingredients than I do…I don’t think I’ve seen a pecan yet here.
