Tokyo Terrace's First Giveaway!!

by Tokyo Terrace on June 23, 2009

I have a problem. Somehow, I can put ingredients together for my cocktails, but I come up with some miserably boring names. Since this is such a difficult thing for me, I thought it would be beneficial to ask all of the super creative people out there to help me out! Here’s how it works…

IMG_9942My most recent Cocktail Friday post has a recipe for a Pomegranate-Mint cocktail with lime. Click here to read about it. If you can think of a great name for this drink, post a comment to let me know about it. ONE lucky winner will get an exciting prize: a Japanese cooking utensil straight from Tokyo, Japan!

The deadline to enter the giveaway is Monday, June 29th at 10pm. Good luck to everyone!!!

Well, the Spanish word for pomegranate is “granada”, which can also mean “grenade”. So, how about Pink Explosion or Pink Mint Explosion?

Okay, so, here’s one of the things that I came up with. I am going to definitely come up with better names, but I can’t think right now… I just want to get this name on record so no one else takes it before me.

Because pomegranates are native to southwestern Asia, we came up with the name
    “Asian Pearl”
Looks refreshing and I love pomegranate. Great creation.

  • Aunt J in Hendersonville

“Momma-Granny” (that’s what I heard in my head when I read your name for the cocktail). :)
Okay, I admit it, it was late, I’d had a couple of
    glasses of Pinot Grigio (sp?)…
    Should I delete this?
    lol
