OK. I have to apologize for being irresponsible with my blog posts. Being away from my normal routine in Tokyo has made it somewhat difficult to keep to my blogging schedule. Cocktail Friday this week, as a result, as been delayed to today. Actually, tonight…
Denver was very warm and sunny yesterday. One of the nicest days we have had since we arrived. To help cool down, this cocktail served us just fine. It is light, refreshing, and slightly tart. The mint and lime help to lighten the intense flavor of the pomegranate juice along with the bubbles of the tonic water that dance around playfully on the tongue.
This can be made with or without the alcohol. I chose to use vodka, but gin would work just as well. For Father’s Day, make one of these, sit back and relax.
