Hi..I think I'll try to pom. and champ. drink. Where did you find the juice and the fruit in Tokyo? The other appetizers look great but far beyond my cooking ability..I'm thinking a bag of chips and pouring salsa into a bowl!

WasabiPrime: It is pretty cool how you can take such simplicity and make it something unique. I think that's why I love making cocktails. There is so much you can do with them, yet they don't have to be complicated and super fancy. The beach pairing sounds pretty awesome...

Beautiful setup. I love the colors and the decorative paper! And the tealights are perfect -- I light them everywhere. It's a Christmas miracle that I haven't burned down the house... yet. If you ever find a bottle of orange flavored bitters, I highly recommend snagging one or three. We have a bottle of Fee Brothers that's nicely orange-y. It's a perfect addition to Manhattans, as well as martinis. Apparently before the martini became chilled gin with a whisper of vermouth, it had a dash of orange bitters to cut the alcohol's heat and enhance the juniper flavor. Definitely makes the martini easier to cozy up to, versus the usual cool 007 customer.
